GPT stands for generative pre-trained transformer, a particular neural network used for text generation. On March 14th 2023 OpenAI has announced its newest model, GPT-4 which is at least 10x more capable than the previous version GPT-3.5 found in ChatGPT.

You can already access GPT-4 through ChatGPT Plus plan (paid).
